About the Himalayas
The Himalayas, the great mountain range of Asia, sprawl east to west from Afghanisthan to Nepal, Tibet through Bhutan, and ending in Myanmar including countries like India and Pakistan. Their culture includes religions like Buddhism and Hinduism. The people of the Himalayas have different pleasant cultures and traditions. Some people prefer wearing long dresses, like Nepalese wear 'Labeda-suruwal', Kashmiris wear pheron, Tibetans wear tibetian robe. In Bhutan men wear a peace of clothing called gho and women wear kira. Gaddis wear 'Dhora' due to cold and pleasant weather. The Himalayan region has a plethora of communities and tribes which surely explains their diversity in taditional dresses and costumes. Their religious beliefs are very strong. There are Jhankis carried out once a year which are worshipped by people all over the state. The environment is heavenly because it is pollution-free in the 21st century.
