Participants of the Miss Himalaya Pageant 2014 were presented at a press conference on 3rd October. Photos of the contestants were up on this website after the press conference.
There were five rounds of competition over two days. Three judges on each day decided the winner of the Pageant. The winner received one lakh rupees (100,000 rs). The First Runner-up received 50,000 rupees and the Second Runner-up 25,000 rupees.
On both the days the show was held at Tipa, at 6pm on Saturday 4 October and at 6:30 pm on Sunday 5 October. Tickets were available at the door. On Saturday 4 October, the ticket for the show cost 200 rupees. There were only 450 seats available on Saturday night. On Sunday 5 October, finale night, the ticket cost 250 rupees.
