The preparations for the Miss Himalaya Pageant for Peace and Environment are almost complete. The participants will be presented at a press conference on the Thursday 11th October. Photos of the contestants will be up on this website after the press conference.
There will be four rounds of competition over two days. Three judges on each day will decide the winner of the pageant. The winner will receive one lakh rupees (100,000 rs). The First Runner-up will receive 50,000 rupees and the Second Runner-up 25,000 rupees.
On both the days the show will be held at Tipa at 6pm. Tickets will be available at the door. The show on Friday, 12 October, the ticket will cost 100 rupees. There will be only 450 seats on Friday night. On Saturday, 13 October, finale night, the ticket will cost 150 rupees.
